Leda Pingas

 

Born in Argentina, she formally began her artistic career at the National Fine Arts Schools Prilidiano Pueyrredón and Ernesto de La Cárcova/ Buenos Aires/ Argentina. She then studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts and attended courses of Chinese and Japanese painting, ceramic, lacquering, music, dance, theatre and different alternatives of art movement and body language.

 

She exhibited her artwork in Argentina, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Israel and Poland.

Her artistic and professional activity includes illustration and co-authoring projects, restoration work, theatre assistant and co-stage direction, scenography and choreography design.

 

Member of  Argentine Illustrators’ Forum and teacher of education through art, she organizes  courses, seminars, creative art and sensory expression workshops.

She took part in theatre dance and performance staging and played in traditional folk music groups too, especially of Argentinean and Mediterranean ethnic repertory and Early Music.

 

Among her main and decisive Masters were:

Ideal Sánchez, Teresio Fara, Beatriz Varela and Kan Tin (Fine Arts).

Lisandro Sosa and Verónica Rapela (Music).

Maralia Reca, Qian Lan Ge y Hong Ding Sheng (Body Language and Art of movement).

Gioia Fiorentino (set and costume design).
